DESIGN ENGINEER
Tagish Engineering is a Civil Engineering firm that has been in business for over 40 Years. Our head office in the Red Deer area is looking to hire a Design Engineer to join our company on a full-time basis. RESPONSIBILITES:

Prepare, interpret, or review calculations, specifications, plans and systems.

Accompany and assist senior engineers to complete projects through the design and construction process.

Contribute to Survey, Design Drafting, Construction layouts and other deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering degree from an accredited university or Technical Diploma

Registration as a member in training with APEGA or ASET

Familiarity and experience with engineering computer programs.

Minor Travel as required to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Previous work experience is an asset but not required.

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Ability to see projects through from start to finish.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Sound technical background (hands-on) with logical deductive reasoning approach

Strong working knowledge of common software packages (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.)
