PROJECT DESCRIPTION.
Tagish Engineering was asked to assess the condition of a deteriorated main connector road between Hwy 2A and the C & E Trail, southwest of Red Deer. This was originally a soil cement structured road which was failing due to traffic loading and the elevation proximity to several adjacent low areas and water bodies. Each year, maintenance and patching efforts became more and more expensive and repetitious, and the road was perilously close to becoming impassable.
