PROJECT DESCRIPTION.
Tagish Engineering was commissioned to reconstruct 51st Avenue between 47th and 48th Street and between 45th and 46th Street. The project included removing existing water and sanitary mains and replacing with new utilities as well as new residential services. After new underground mains were installed, the existing road base was removed and replaced with new road structure, asphaltic paving and concrete works. In addition, this project also included reconstructing 54th Avenue between 44th and 46th Street with new road structure and asphaltic pavement surfacing. This project was the largest capital works for Rimbey in 2012 and overall the project was constructed in a timely fashion and well within budget. The Town and landowners are very happy with their newly constructed streets.
