PROJECT DESCRIPTION.
In 2012 the existing 50th Avenue Bridge crossing the Battle River in Ponoka was deemed structurally unsafe and should be replaced as soon as possible. The project included the construction of a new bridge to cross the Battle River able to withstand industrial loads as well as the realignment of 50th avenue. Tagish Engineering assessed, develop cost effective solutions, assisted in securing funding and all approvals, tendered and facilitated construction for all phases of two construction seasons it took to complete the project.
