Tagish Engineering Ltd. is a Red Deer, Alberta based Engineering Consulting company, specializing in Civil Engineering owned and managed by Mr. Wes Williams, P. Eng. Since it's inception in 1983, Tagish Engineering Ltd. has been providing professional Civil Engineering services to Central Alberta for over 25 years. Tagish Engineering's mission is to provide quality engineering services that produce practical yet innovative results. The Tagish team is dedicated to providing the small company experience of personal service and rapid response, but by utilizing an extensive network of sub consultants, no project is too large to undertake. Our growing staff includes engineers, technologists and adminstrative support with a variety of experience including civil engineering, geomatics and water management. Services include feasibility studies, conceptual planning, assessments, detailed designs, project management, contract preparation and construction inspection. A variety of regulatory approval services are provided, related to public involvement, interest group negotiations and general mediation.

 

 

 

 

Our Values

  The name "Tagish" originates from Tagish Lake which is located in the Whitehorse southern lakes region, at the headwaters of the Yukon River.

In 1973, while owner and president Wes Williams was working for the City of Whitehorse, he staked a lot on California Beach at Tagish Lake, and built the log cabin pictured above. When Wes moved to Red Deer and started his own company, he chose a name that exemplifies the "Spirit Of The North" The values of hard work, free spirit, and a willingness to seek adventure remain strong at Tagish Engineering Ltd. to this day.
