Today
Tagish Engineering is a highly respected civil engineering consulting firm with a long history of success in central Alberta. Founded in 1983 in Red Deer, we have been providing exceptional municipal engineering and project management services for water, wastewater, stormwater systems, roadway infrastructure, and land development projects for over 40 years.
Our company takes its name from the beautiful community of Tagish, Yukon, where the founder of the firm would retreat to a cabin along the banks of Tagish Lake to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. At Tagish Engineering, we strive to embody the welcoming, authentic, and reliable culture of this northern community in all of our work.
Throughout our long history, we have consistently provided top-quality service to a wide variety of clients, many of whom have been with us for many years. Our personal approach to addressing the specific needs and challenges of our clients has been key to our success, and we have developed strong relationships with industry experts across a range of disciplines to support the projects we are involved with. Tagish has developed a Health and Safety Program that exceeds industry standards. We continually strive to improve are already excellent safety record. Tagish holds a current Certificate of Recognition in Alberta.
Since 1983, Tagish has held an APEGA Permit to Practice with pride and remained in good standing by fulfilling all regulatory obligations and practice requirements. As an engineering firm, we hold ourselves to the highest standards and recognize that our professional ethics are based on integrity, competence, dignity, and a commitment to service.
